Teacher Only Days
All schools have Teacher Only Days or days when they close early during the school term.
Here at Pride Lands we know this can put extra strain on families when they have to accommodate children that aren’t at school for part or all of a day.
Pride Lands offer Teacher Only Day Programmes and Early Closing/Half-Day Programmes to give children aged between 4 and 13, their families and caregivers a great option for when kids aren’t at school.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you require early pickup for your cub(s) on half days or a full 1-Day Fun Holidays Programme for Teacher Only Days, so that we can cater for your needs as well as your cubs.
Teacher Only Day Programmes
For our Teacher Only Day Programmes, activities are planned and we ensure a mix of social development activities onsite as well as excursions to make the day adventurous and fun for the cubs.
Please make sure cubs come prepared with holiday programme gear and remember that as always, Pride Lands provides all the meals: Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea. No bags needed unless absolutely necessary.
Early Closing/Half-day Programmes
Our Early-Close/Half-Day Programmes are often social development trip centred and when the children are picked up from school, we head into the city for a trip day before making our way to the centres by no later than 3.30pm.
Please inform your cub’s schools that you have given Pride Lands the authority to pick-up your cub(s) to avoid any delays in getting them out. This can be done in an e-mail to both Pride Lands and the school in advance before the Early-Close/Half Day schooling kicks in.
Healthy lunch and afternoon tea is provided to our cubs as usual, so don’t worry, they will be well catered for.
Who?
4 – 17 year olds.
Where?
- South Wellington Intermediate School Hall, Berhampore.
- Wests Rooster – Wilton Rugby Club, Wilton.
- Dyer Street School Hall, Epuni, Lower Hutt.
When?
Whenever your children have half days or full Teacher Only Days off school.
How much?
- Standard rates for Teacher Only Days are $82.04 per child.
- Half Days are $12.00 per hour for every hour before 3pm plus $27.01 for the After School Care from 3pm to 6pm.
