Here at Pride Lands we are all about supporting and helping children, but we can’t do it by ourselves. We know that the best outcomes involve the families and communities the kids come from.

Pride Initiatives are the partnerships that we build with local businesses and communities to help provide the best support we can for our Pride Lands cubs.

Pride Internships

Our way of providing support and an exit strategy to help kids as they graduate from Pride Lands.

Pride Interns help out at Pride Lands, get work experience, learn leadership and life skills and get help writing a CV that details their personal development and time spent working with us.

Local businesses sponsor at-risk children in their community to get the support that they need.

Help 100 involves local businesses sponsoring local children to ensure that lack of funding doesn’t stop them accessing the services that can help turn their lives around.

The Pride Fair

The culmination of each Holiday Programme, which is supported by and involves the wider community.

Pride Lands Childcare

The Pride Fair is open to anyone, and allows goods and services to be bought and sold in Pride Dollars, which can be used to buy donated goods at an auction at the end of the Fair.

Pride Gallery

Pride Gallery is a partnership with artists who create artworks and donate them to Pride Lands.

Pride Gallery artists support children in need

All the proceeds from the sale of Pride Gallery art goes to providing support to children in need in the Wellington Region, who would not otherwise be able to access our services.
