Hi. My name is Daniel and I am the artist who created the Bus Stop Gallery in Berhampore, Wellington.
I have always wanted to entertain people with social comment following the news of the time, using my art and sculptures, while the buses stopped outside our house. Hence, the Bus Stop Gallery was born.
A wee while ago, while working in our front yard, reorganizing the sculptures, Moses stopped by, introduced himself, and wanted to know if I would be interested in having a bunch of kids come and visit the gallery and show them what I do. He told me about Pride Lands and the work they do helping children expand their knowledge by visiting people in their working environment. I was more than happy to oblige and what a good feel afternoon it was when Moses and the children visited. A lot of happiness for all to share.
Since then I have had the privilege of doing a painting for their project “Help 100”
I’m happy to be a sponsor for Moses and his group, who do a superb job of caring for all those wonderful children, expanding their horizons and showing them hope.
Thank you Moses, and your team, for being who you are. The world is definitely a better place with you in it.
Daniel
